We'll teach your puppy everything they need to know
Group puppy classes in Berkshire
Sleepless nights, never-ending toilet accidents indoors, uncontrollable biting? I've been here personally many times. And I get it.
Why our puppy classes are different
Many puppy classes follow the same old format: stuffy, on-lead at all times, teaching your dog only how to sit and lie down. Which you've likely already begun doing. We're different.
Our approach to puppy training? Socialisation and environmental exposure is key at the early stages.
With us, your dog will have socialisation experiences you won't get anywhere else. A dedicated environmental exposure week, in addition to all fundamental obedience skills required of the youngest puppies.
What's included

A private 121 session in your own home

About us
Having personally raised multiple puppies - some pets and some destined to serve communities as working dogs - I've been there.
Having also trained hundreds of puppies, with a mix of first-time owners and experienced hands, my puppy program reflects the expertise I've built.
But don't just take our word for it

The puppy classes were a standout. Socialisation was actively encouraged, unlike other courses we’d attended, and this made a huge difference for Magnus and for us.
Ben’s advice is always practical and confidence-boosting, and his love for dogs and deep understanding of behaviour is obvious.
We’re so glad we found Bravo Dog Training. Brilliant all round.
Lauren and Ant, owners to Magnus

Ben is everything you would want from a trainer. He is friendly, knowledgeable, encouraging and above all, brilliant with dogs and puppies.
Ben helped us through the hard times and could not have been more supportive. We feel very lucky to have found Bravo Dog Training and would like to thank Ben and Amy for all their help and would (and have) recommend them to anyone who needs to know how to train their dog.

After getting our first puppy at 10 weeks old, I was completely overwhelmed.
Ben gave us the reassurance we needed by helping to educate us and help us understand our puppy and what he needs from us. We are now able to understand our puppy much much better, and we're so pleased to have found his puppy training.
Ben really does work miracles when it comes to dogs.

FAQs
What age should my puppy be to attend?
Puppies are welcome from around 12–16 weeks old, once they’ve had their second set of vaccinations. Check with your vet if you’re unsure.
What will my puppy learn?
We focus on basic obedience (sit, stay, recall), socialisation, confidence-building, and good manners like not jumping up or pulling on the lead.
Can my children attend too?
Yes, children are very welcome! They must be supervised at all times to ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone.
What if my puppy is nervous or shy?
That’s completely normal! Classes are designed to build confidence at your puppy’s pace. We’ll never force interactions.
What if my puppy is very excitable?
Also totally normal! We’ll show you techniques to help your puppy focus and stay calm around distractions.
Can I attend if my puppy misses a class?
Of course. We’ll help you catch up and provide guidance so you can continue training at home.
How long are the classes?
Classes last 45 minutes, with breaks to keep puppies from getting overwhelmed.
What should I bring to class?
Please bring plenty of small, tasty treats, a flat collar or harness, a lead (no retractable leads), poo bags, and a mat or blanket for your puppy to settle on.
